Microsoft Tablet Steals Apple’s Thunder. Unofficially, of Course.

Yesterday, the news of a Microsoft tablet has surfaced. It is said to be a late prototype. The tablet, which will feature two folding 7″ displays and a 3 megapixel camera, will be called the Courier. Gizmodo has this exclusive wrapped up pretty tight, so most of our details are coming from them. The Courier will primarily use a stylus, although it will also have multitouch capability. As far as the operating system goes, there are no specifics on that. From what I can see, though, it looks like it will be using an OS based off the Zune HD. It might also use conductive charring, like the technology used by the WildCharge charging mat.

We’ll keep you updated with information as Microsoft releases it.
