Apple Launches App Store Resource Center
Apple has just announced the creation of the App Store Resource Center for iPhone developers. From what I can gather, its basically a knowledge base that covers all aspects of creating and releasing iPhone Apps. It looks like you’ll need a developer account to get into the resource center, but you might want to give it a shot anyways. Other than that, there isn’t really a whole lot to report at the moment. We’ll let you know if we find anything interesting. In the mean time, here’s Apple’s description of the App Store Resource Center as taken from the announcement email:
We are pleased to introduce the App Store Resource Center, a single destination designed to make it easier for you to find details on everything you need to know about distributing your app on the App Store — from how to prepare for app submission to managing your app once it’s been posted.
Edit: From what we can see now, it doesn’t look like you need a developer account to access the resource center.
Edit: (9/19/09): TUAW has just updated their site with their own post about the AppStore Research Center, along with more information, so check there or drop us a comment if you want to learn more.
